Dana crash: Words fail me, but GOD Almighty knows best — Pastor Adeboye

“As a Father, a Pastor, a Leader, at a time like this, one is looked up to for comfort and guidance but I must say the recent events involving the Dana Air crash and the bomb blast in Northern Nigeria has touched me deeply from different angles. The loss of fathers, mothers, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, innocent children, RCCG members, non-members, and my beloved fellow Nigerians saddens me. Words fail me, but GOD Almighty knows best. My Family and I are praying for ALL the victims and most especially their relatives and loved ones. May the true comforter comfort you, guide you, be with you, heal your hearts and take the pain away in JESUS name. Amen.” — Pastor Adeboye

My prayer is that someday we will not only pray as Nigerians but we will learn to back it up with actions…Faith without works is death.I am praying for that day that Pastors will unite in this country against corruption and make the right decisions.Evil will continue to prevail if good people just sit in the church and pray.Nigeria wake up from your slumber, get God fearing people into office instead of voting for a man without shoes based on sentiment and ethnicity.Pastor Tunde Bakare good job!!

My heart goes out to them all, this is so sad.
Yes, very kind words from Pastor Adeboye. Though I have to say that Prayer is very important but we are also forgetting that they also need financial support.God is not coming down himself but doing it through us, the privileged that can help. Children have lost parents, others have lost the bread winner in the family, a few have lost their homes, some are seriously injured.i.e those that were on the ground when the plane crashed.
We have more than enough wealthy pastors/churches in Nigeria that can help financially. We need to do what God said we should according to His word in 1 John 3:17-18

    1 John 3:17-18

    Contemporary English Version (CEV)

17 If we have all we need and see one of our own people in need, we must have pity on that person, or else we cannot say we love God. 18 Children, you show love for others by truly helping them, and not merely by talking about it.

I really hope they do their bit to help financially, God has blessed some churches so abundantly that they have purchased private jets so that means they have more enough to help those financially who need it. God has blessed them so they can also bless others also.According to God’s word in 2 corinthians 9:8

    2 Corinthians 9:8
    Contemporary English Version (CEV)

8 God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others.

It is a shame that this isn’t preached often enough in churches,we myself included think about ourselves more than others…prayer is not enough, we need action…
I pray that God will comfort those who have lost loved ones, and provide all the help morally, spiritually, financially they may need.

    Have a blessed day.
